Freeze Ride | February 23, 2019

Let's face it, we really don't know what it's like being homeless, moving from shelter to shelter, trying to survive. Then add to that, the winter cold. Join us for our annual Freeze Ride on Saturday, February 23 to support the homeless.

Once a year, we encourage ALL motorcycle enthusiasts to help. Each rider raises at least $50.00 (our goal is to raise $5,000 this year). Additionally, we will ride to Target in Annapolis and buy gift cards in $25.00 increments. We will then take them to the Lighthouse Homeless Shelter. 100% of what we raise goes directly to the homeless. The shelter can supply tax deductible receipts.

This year, we're hoping to make it the biggest ride yet, partnering up other south county churches and groups. So share the word!

We will start at Mt Zion UMC, 122 Bayard Road, Lothian, MD, then travel to all other participating locations before we head to Target.

If you know a group that wants to ride or simply make a donation, call or text Thomas Allotta at 240.418.7548 or Charlie Perkins at 301.440.5664.

If it is raining, snowing or there is salt on the road, we will take cars.
