About Mt. Zion

Mt. Zion has been preaching Christ to Southern Anne Arundel County (known locally as “South County’) for over two hundred years. In many ways we are a farming community but we are also a community close to the Chesapeake Bay where many people move here to retire or vacation here. We are located close to Baltimore, Annapolis, and Washington, D.C., as well as to military bases and universities. That makes us a community where our neighbors and friends come from a variety of backgrounds. We stand by the Apostles Creed as our confession of faith and it is our goal to bring Christ to the world around us. We meet people where they are and help them grow in their faith.
