Julie Hawkins

Julie was born and raised in Kansas, graduating from the University of Kansas with a degree in Journalism. For 15+ years she worked in television news as a producer. Long, often overnight hours didn't work for the family so she followed God's prompting to try something new. That led her to communications in the church. In August of 2017, her family moved to Calvert County for her husband's job. He's a Special Agent for the Federal Government. Their son Drew is 16 years old and loves to play basketball. Their daughter Mallory is 13 years old and loves to hang out with friends, cheer, run track and play volleyball.
